With the rivers desperate for water i had a trip up to the Eden after walking miles and casting at a handful of fish i managed to connect with 3 small trout.With the promise of much needed rain this week i will be crossing my fingers and hoping for a deluge as the river is in need for a drink bigtime.
With the rivers a virtual none starter i have been out on my local stillwater i have fished most nights and caught steadily on a variety of dry flies.With the days being so hot its just a case of waiting for the temp to dip and fish till dusk.
